If you utilize the Universal Application feature in your SLM site, the following details will help as you choose pre-filters for a data set. Please refer to Goal 7 in the Base Camp Learning Lab for a detailed tutorial on the basics of building data sets if needed.

When choosing pre-filters, you will see each opportunity within your universe listed as a process.

  • Selecting any of your opportunities here will allow you to view data from requests within those opportunities, in any of the statuses you choose.

You will also see the name of your universe listed as a process.

  • Selecting the universe here will allow you to see requests in two specific statuses/scenarios:
    • Application Draft: if an applicant started working on the universal application (the common questions on your application form), but has not yet submitted their application.
      • In this scenario, the request will show up on your dashboard with the name of the universe listed as the process name.
    • Application Submitted: if an applicant submitted the universal application (the common questions on your application form), and was not eligible for any opportunities.
      • In this scenario, the request is no longer on your dashboard, but has the status of Application Submitted. It can be found in the request history for the applicant.

If you would like to view requests within the above statuses/scenarios within this data set, either leave all request statuses selected, or include the Application Draft and Application Submitted statuses.
